1. Tour of Britain 2010: Stage 3 - Constitution Hill, Swansea (via brassyn)

This is my own very amateur footage - shaky camera, rain on the lens and everything (skill!). But it does capture the atmosphere and the difficulty some of the guys where having making it up the cobbled hill.  Some of the riders muscled their way through and others nearly ground to a halt.

Just as a supplementary answer to Sarah’s to idroolinmysleep’s question regarding musette contents, this is a picture of some of the stuff discarded by riders during Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain last year.
My boyfriend and I decided to hang about the feed station with our ideal goal of obtaining a musette.  It didn’t happen (one day…) but they were lots of discarded bidons and food stuffs.  Mainly a lot of energy gels and bars, but also small cans of coke, sandwiches and in one case a brioche with ham - I assume that perhaps belonged to one of the french teams ;)
(co-mod Natalie, forgive the borderline epic geekery on this post)
