Giro d’Italia 2012 | Stage 18
Frustration from Cavendish on the hunt for maximum points to hang onto his red jersey.
Guardini’s shown so much potential thus far in his career, this could be a breakthrough for him to start being more consistent. Especially achieving this the day after the Passo Giau!

Giro d’Italia 2012 | Stage 18
Andrea Guardini finally gets a win on a big stage! One of the few pure sprinters who have made it through the mountains, he was just too fast for Mark Cavendish on the day.

Tour of Turkey: Stage 1
Epic sprint face picture. Somewhat sullied by old Petacchi getting his rage on and thumping FDJ’s neo-pro Nacer Bouhanni, earning himself a fine, a time penalty and a trip straight to the bottom of the GC for the day. Bouhanni finished seventh.
Tour of Turkey: Stage 1
Andrea Guardini takes the stage ahead of Tyler Farrar. This little guy had an impressive victory in the Tour of Qatar and this was similarly stunning: a from almost out of nowhere super kick right past everyone and straight to the front. Pure firecracker. I hope he’s going to the Giro.

Tour of Qatar: Stage 5
Final stage of the race was won by Andrea Guardini. Little guy was like a whippet! A good win for Farnese Vini in amongst the ProTour teams.
