emptywindows-deactivated2011092 asked: This year's TDF was the first I've really followed, and before that I was hooked on the Giro. What's next on the cycling calender to look forward to?
There’s the Tour de Wallonie, though that ends tomorrow. The Tour de Pologne is pretty big/popular (Eurosport will probably be covering it live) and it runs from July 31 to August 6. There are a lot of smaller/shorter races in the first part of August, like the Post Danmark Rundt (3rd), the Eneco Tour (8th), the Tour of Utah (9-14) and Tour du Limousin (16th).
Also in August (from Aug 20 to Sept 11) you’ve got the Vuelta a España, the third and final Grand Tour of 2011. Moving into September, there’s the Tour of Britain (11-18) and, of course, the UCI Road World Championships (19-25).
For a full list of all the races for 2011 (as well as previous years and 2012), you can visit cyclingnews’ road race calendar. That’s where I got all this info. If anyone else has any races I’ve missed (and there were lots), drop us a note in the comments!
Happy watching!
