Vino “enjoyed” himself today.
He said afterwards:
“I don’t think there’s a place for dirt roads like this in a stage race like the Giro. In a one-day race yes, but not in a stage race.”
It was a spectacular stage, though undoubtedly the rain made the dirt roads even trickier.
