    Sad news today as it was announced that Euskaltel-Euskadi rider Victor Cabedo was killed after being hit by a car while out training.  Cabedo was only 23 and this was his first year on the Pro Tour having shown much promise with Euskaltel feeder team Orbea Continental. His last race was last week’s Tour of Britain, in which he withdrew on the second stage due to illness. Awful news and our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.
