During this year’s Giro d’Italia I made a decision. To repair my knackered old mountain bike and get riding again. Initially to support plans for a channel swim. Then an odd thing happened. I got the bug. I wanted to cycle longer and longer distances.
Every cyclist wants to time trial like Cancellara, sprint like Cavendish and climb like Shleck. At the moment I sprint like Cancellara, climb like Cav and time trial like Schleck, but I’m improving!
I’m not a great cyclist, I don’t pretend to be, but I am one of the most determined and I pride myself on being a nice guy! So when an opportunity to cycle across Vietnam to raise money for newborn children arose I couldn’t turn it down. The training has ramped up, as has the fundraising. Any contributions to or sharing of my justgiving page will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Mark
(FYC note: We wish you all the best, Mark!)
