This September I was at the Worlds in Denmark and this is my audio file recording of the finish of the 2011 elite men road race, from around 3k to go.
It’s a little screechy so be aware if your speakers are up loud, but it’s still quite entertaining and exciting.
Highlights include: “HERE COMES DENMARK!” and “OH, THE HUMANITY!”, not to mention everyone freaking out as the race concluded. Lowlight: my high-pitched whirr of a question at the end babbling out “how did he do that?!”.
